Comments
Comments: Wow! Big day to finish the Belknap Range Redlining List.

Day started easy on Boulder and Beaver Pond Trial (very nice trail). All good until we hit Blueberry Pasture "trail"! This "trail" is the old road or logging road. It was loaded with leaves which covered the loose rock which was all shapes and sizes. Very slow going. Not much enjoyment here. Once we hit Straightback Mtn Tr. we headed down to Jesus Valley then turned and went back up to get this section. We continued on to Straightback Mtn then the BRT to Precipice Path. The entrance from the BRT for the northern part is not marked at all. You can spot a small cairn about 30yds in. Once you start on it, it is well blazed. This is a really cool trail but not with the leaves on it. Very steep descent with lots of rock and holes covered by the leaves. Slow going. The ascent was a bit easier though still some steep sections. Waterfall cliff is very nice. Once back on BRT headed to Major and the exit out Jesus Valley Tr. Parts of this were also covered in deep leaves with lots of rocks hidden. All in all most of these trails would be great without the leaves (though one and done on Blueberry Pasture :(). Thanks to Beth and Steve for joining us and celebrating our completion. Ken and Karen (krobi)
