A busy day in Crawford Notch but there was parking on the shoulder reasonably close to the Depot and Trailhead. |

Water was low so Brook crossing on Avalon Trail was a snap. |

While there was plenty of traffic on the Avalon Trail, I was surprised that we had the Cascade Loop and that fine pair of Cascades to ourselves. My wife and I continued our string of waterfall hikes. |
