Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Last week I tried Mudget, with plans to go to both the north and south peaks as I did not know what one was higher. You can almost drive to the top of the south peak, where I met an angry landowner, who thwarted that attempt. Today, I was very diligent about staying away from all yards. I later learned that the high point is the north peak. I parked at the junction of Creampoke road and Haines Hill road (cohos trail I think). I could have driven much higher, but signs said ‘local traffic only,’ and I did not want to take more chances. I did not see any prohibition against trespass.

Comments
Comments: From where I parked, I walked Mudget Mountain Road until I got to a street on the right with a street sign (forgot name). I did not take the right, but took a left onto a logging road, just past the street on the right. On the logging road, I almost immediately took another left onto a recently used skid road (the right fork is more gravel). The road on the right took me to the highpoint, which is basically a clearing. There is a John Deere tractor parked at the top (not abandoned, looks operational) so there may be work in progress at the summit.
