I took Round Pond Road in Pitsburg. The road splits just before the pond to head to camps on both the east and west side of the pond. I took the east side (right) and drove it to its end at a circle and the start of the covel mountain trail. |

I bushwhacked directly from where I parked through a mix of open woods and second growth to the summit. The highpoint is marked by a yellow X, which is somewhat hidden in a tree. This was fairly quick and straight forward. |
