Parked at the Mike Burke Trailhead on Avery Hill Road in Alton. Morse Preserve trails are about 100 yards further down the road on the opposite side. |

Trails were brushy but well blazed. All trails in the area are blazed in yellow |

A nice hike for dogs |

A few deer flies but not too bad. Check for ticks. |

| Comments: |
A great short loop with spectacular views of the Belknap Range and Alton Bay. The trails were a bit brushy due to the summer growth in the fields. Well defined tread way and recently blazed. A great way to get the views of Mt Major without the crowds. |
