it just felt like a day for Moosilauke. Except for a large college orientation group on the summit there were only a few people out today which helped for a fast pace…personal best 3:20.. Usual mud spots, a nice new view has been cut at around 4200 feet to the North East..very nice to have private land and to be able to make these improvements. Noisy summit didn't linger long but views were good with some haze. Carriage road along the ridge is lovely and the foot bed was fine to Snapper. Followed the old Snapper route to ski trail which receives some use and has good tho steep footing. Nice day out |
