Carriage Road gate is locked at 6 PM. Carriage Road is getting pretty bumpy, but cars can make it up with care still. |

No blowdowns encountered. Noted recent improvements on Blue Trail by its dedicated maintainer. Installed two new steps on Red this afternoon. |

Trails were mostly dry today and the range had not been hit by rain yet as of about 3:30, despite lots of rumbling. Already some leaves changing color!
The state replaced the decking on the top platform on the fire tower, so there's now room again (a fire had burned part of it earlier this summer). |
