Had to park in Southern annex lot, as many folks were of the same mind: it's a beautiful day, let's hike! :-) |

Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |

Very minimal water crossing hassles. |

Black flies - mostly on lower Tuckerman ravine trail. |

Goal was to hike the Tuckerman Rim Traverse. None of us felt like going the extra distance/elevation. Mt Washington's summit cone's Tuck trail looked like an ant hill, besides!
A far better weather day than on a Boot Spur/Glenn Boulder day hike last year when there was fog, & low-hanging clouds - next to no visibility.
Just a great day to be in the NH White Mountains! |
