Comments
Comments: The final segment of trail in the Squam Range went down! Made sure to do my reading, and did the required 0.9 mile walk on Thompson Road to the start of the trail proper. The trail gets steep near the top, and I kept right on going to the Crawford Ridgepole junction, deciding to skip the actual summit of Doublehead. I returned to the ledges near the top of the trail, and basked in the sun, enjoying the fantastic views over the region. Yet another fantastic area that redlining has opened up to me, I'll surely be returning!
