Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: None that I can recall.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: No signage at the beginning of Old Highway, but the WMG description is spot on, it's exactly 0.2 mile north of the Cotton Mountain trailhead lot. Some major erosion on the lower section (113 end) of Old Highway and Old Mountain Road, as noted in other reports. The treadway on Old Highway tends to stay above the eroded areas. Trails in great shape otherwise.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes:
Bugs
Bugs: Minor, except on the summit of Livermore, where the deer flies were voracious!

Comments
Comments: The beginning of the end of the Squam Range trails for me, with this quiet morning loop over Livermore. Paid visits to both Prescott Cemetery and Burleigh (Burley) Cemetery on my way through on Old Highway, went out to Burleigh Farm Road, then backtracked up Old Mountain Road to the ridge. I ran into a solo gentleman on his way down from Livermore, where he said the deer flies were bad. He wasn't lying, and I barely managed a few pictures before they were on me. Connected back to Old Highway on Prescott. This area has a nice feel to it, even though it's so close to so much, I like it a lot.
