Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Crossing of Slide Brook involved a balance on a blowdown to not get wet. All other crossings non factors.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Livermore has a big blowdown below the South entrance to Mt. Tripyramid Tr. Easy to step under and then over. Mt. Tripyramid up to South Slide is in very good shape. Trail from S to M to N was in good shape. Pine Bend has lots of erosion and slippery rocks up high. Scaur was in excellent shape but did have some running water in a couple of spots. Also a number of blowdowns that you had to duck under or go around. Livermore from intersection of Scaur to South entrance had a number of big blowdowns and "widow makers".
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: If your dog can do a slide than no issues.
Bugs
Bugs: First time that bugs have been an issue. Black flies and gnats were bothersome and biting.

Comments
Comments: Decided to try this up South Slide. Great way to do the loop. Really enjoyed the descent down Scaur Ridge and than back to the car. Easy on the legs. Beautiful woods on the ascent and descent. Great day out.
