Comments: Great day of hiking. All but the occasional minor patch of snow is melted. No need for traction.

Hiking up the ski slope and back down is really pretty and affords great views of Mt Washington and the northern Presidential's.

It is obvious when you reach Wildcat peak from the south because there is a good view and it looks down into Carter notch
