Enjoyed the view for a long time. From Chocorua on the left to Carrigain on the right with Sandwich Range and more in between. Limited views of the Presidentials from the switchbacks higher up. A steady climb which these switchbacks smooth out on the steep parts near the peak in the midst of huge virgin pines. Unofficial tent site on summit could make an interesting overnight. No other hikers on a day when many other lots had several cars. |
