A couple of widow makers at 2500' and 3700', and a mildly awkward step-over/walk-around at 3600'. The trail adopter was on hand to field this report. |

Black flies starting to swarm at lower elevations, but no biting yet. |

| Comments: |
Overall, the trail is in great shape. Slippery rocks, snow, water etc. checked off above are in really minor amounts. The trail is 100% bare bootable with reasonable care.
Wonderful day to be out - partly sunny, breezy, hi 50s to hi 60s. T-shirt the whole day. I came across 7 other hikers including the Mt. Kinsman Trail's adopter, who did a beautiful job clearing the lower water bars. Everyone I encountered was sporting an "I'm in bliss" demeanor.
Beautiful spring colors, but no flowers out yet on this route.
