Comments
Comments: Barebootable to about 2,000 feet. Snowshoes needed afterward, off and on, then on all the time. Last 400 feet in elevation to Nancy Cascades increasingly difficult. Occasional postholing with snowshoes. Turned back on ascent of the switchbacks next to the cascade, due to difficult conditions. No sign of anyone recently making it as far as the cascade. Lovely icy cascade, worth the hike, even though we did not make it to Norcross Pond.
