Comments
Comments: Great, clear day to be up on Kearsarge! The summit was incredibly windy and freezing cold, so didn't stay long. Warmest spots to take in the views were from the ledges just before the summit. The upper half of the Barlow Trail still has a good bit of snow on it. It's packed really hard and is pretty icy and slippery in places. Forgot to bring microspikes, but barebooted it with only one minor fall. Trekking poles helped immensely on the descent. Not many people out today, so enjoyed the summit almost to ourselves... a rare thing on Kearsarge!
