i parked on the edge of massabesic lake in auburn across from the gated (colorful) fire road. only prohibition was against atvs. |

the road was a little damp in spots but mostly dry to the summit and tower site. i took a right at each junction until the road ran along a heavily posted property boundary. there was an interesting set of old wooden stairs on the steepest section just below the tower site. the tower is adjacent to a house and posted land and looks sketchy but access to the tower site is on non posted land. |
