Snowing lightly most of the time. As we ascended monorail appeared, but covered in new snow. Higher up got tricky to follow and snow at the edges got very deep. The stairs were deep snow covered so we had to don microspikes to climb them. After it leveled out we saw we had quite a ways to go to summit and we figured we had enough of testing our agility to stay on monorail so we gave up and descended. Butt sliding down the stairs wasn't that great. We proceeded to posthole our way down till the snow became not so deep. |
