| Comments: |
We hiked to an unnamed peak Pillsbury State Park in Washington, NH. This peak would be #65 on the Fire Tower List of the 93 fire towers that are standing, once stood or were proposed. We believe that this is the peak that had the fire tower and not N.E. Goves. We did find artifacts on this peak including a fireplace. We took the Mad Road Trail and bushwhack up to the summit. The trail conditions were quite muddy in some spots on the trail. On the bushwhack we ran into dry and muddy conditions along with snow that was over a foot in some locations.
We did post a video for anyone interested in the fire tower list or trail conditions. Just follow the link.
