Comments
Comments: absolutely perfect day with just a few whispy clouds by mid-day. a few hundred people, mostly skiers, most but not all smart enough to stay below icefall hazard at Lunch Rocks. long lines up gullies. Kestrel T= 66F ! W=0 !! sunburn time! excellent rock for lounging. fabulous show including skiers going off ice bulges at headwall, some staying up, some not, all to applause. circus day. Skiers definitely doing much better than boarders. no injuries seen.
up chute with ice ax & crampons easy along kicked steps.
