Water Crossing Notes: Not a true crossing, but part of the Class VI road (first leg of hike) is flooded and requires a bushwhack around it.

Bugs: Saw a few of the little buggers!

Comments
Comments: Did a hike/quasi-bushwhack to the top of Mack Mountain via a Class VI road and some herd paths. The road was about 80% snow free; the summit was almost completely snow-free, and in between, there's still as much as a foot of snow left. Good views from the ledgy top.

At the time of the posting of this report, one can get by without snowshoes, but they also wouldn't be overkill in a few sections...
