| Comments: |
Blue sky day. Excellent view of the snow covered Presidentials and Balds. Snowshoes car to car. Nice that we didn't suffer the same fate as a couple of bare booters. Surface from granular to a few inches of fluffy dry stuff up high. Carter-Moriah trail was not tracked until we went north to south and a group of 8 or 10 went south to north and met us halfway. Started to North Carter but couldn't find the trail and wandered around a bit in the treetops - don't follow our snowshoe tracks. Kestrel: T=20F, W=10mph, WC=0F |
