Great day for some exercise but windy on this short hike. Saw many XC skiers and one snow-biker! Grooming from the Gunstock Nordic Center is great and cooler temps hardened up the trail for the bike. After the GPS station, trail narrowed and was in good shape to within 1/4 mi of Gunstock summit where curious skiiers have wandered around in their ski boots causing a lot of post-holing. With warmer temps, the post holes can be tamped down. |
