Nice day for this hike but the wind was fairly brisk and cold on Lafayette. It lessened as I moved down the ridge toward Lincoln. Trails are well packed all the way around. Some folks in snow shoes others in spikes. I used snow shoes on the way up then switched to spikes for the rocky ridge and down. Was going to do all four but decided to cut it short after late start and forecast of snow. Nice to meet some of the RGOH's. |
