| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
parking lot was relatively full by the time we got there at 10:30. The trail head is directly across the road from the parking lot but you cannot see it due to the large snowbanks. |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Snow/Ice - Postholes, Snow/Ice - Small Patches |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
Snowshoes, Light Traction |
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
all good |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
sign at the top of Jackson is down- I think the wood is rotted out. A few small trees to duck under- nothing serious. Trail is great shape- few post-holes from bare-boots but has a great track. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
didn't see any dogs but trail was in perfect condition for them. |

Had a great time out with a few of my less-experienced-buddies today. Got a late start at 10:30 made it to Jackson by 2:30. Not too windy and pretty nice views considering the storm coming.
Was thinking about going over to Webster thanks to seeing Yves break the ridge and down but with the storm coming we decided to follow our tracks and be safe. Probably a good decision.
although we might get a little snow tonight, trail should be in great shape. |
