Great day out with the J&J team. Good views of the Presidentials from the ridge on the North Tripyramid Trail. By the time we reached Middle, we were in snow flurries. Trail is very solid -- no need for snowshoes. However many people glissaded the steeps last weekend when the snow was soft. Its more like a vertical skating rink now. We switched from spikes to crampons at the sharp left turn and stayed with them til we were back at the base of the ravine. Crampons definitely more secure than spikes.
