I was second vehicle at Kinsman Notch parking area at 6:45 AM. 8 vehicles at 1PM with lots of room for more. |

Two wooden bridge crossings at the beginning of the trail. |

A couple of trees across the trail to walk over or duck under. |

| Comments: |
Started up trail with light traction for the steep section on a good hard packed snowpack. Snowshoes needed along the ridge to pack down the drifted snow. Above treeline the trail was nearly all ice. Temps from 0 to 15 with high clouds, windy above treeline. I saw about a dozen hikers. A really nice day for my 40th NHW4K. |
