Comments
Comments: Pasture Trail is traditionally the first trail on the Rattlesnakes to melt, and that is the case with this recent thaw. Probably close to half of the trail was snow free, while the rest had an inch or so of spring or frozen granular snow. Other trails on the Rattlesnakes likely have more coverage, but I suspect the Bridle Path may be rather wet from yesterday's rain.
Also noted icing in the trees on the adjacent Squam Range peaks and what looks to be full snow coverage there still.
