Comments
Comments: The plan was to hike Adams and Jefferson today but last night's storm dumped a bunch of snow (and some branches too) in the driveway that I had to take care of this morning. It was about 11:00 AM by the time we were able to finally hit the trail so we figured we would go as far as we could go before turning around. Could have kept going but the warm cabin lulled us into a prolonged rest break and put an end to our trip. We were the only ones out on Lowe's Path today. The steep section around the Log Cabin and near Gray Knob Cabin were tricky - there was enough fresh snow to cover everything but not enough to fill everything in. There was about 3-6 inches of fresh snow down low and about 12-14" up high. If it gets cold tonight the track we set should firm up nicely.
