Comments: Great day to be out. Very mild, cloudy, mixed ground conditions down low; ice, snow, rocks. Microspikes worked well. Better snow cover and easier walking up higher on the top half; lots of snow and very pretty at treeline and on the summit despite the fog. No views and navigation beyond Pierce would have bee difficult. The afternoon crowd might have seen more views; it was clearing as I got to the car...
