Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked at the gate for Libby Trail. Parking is minimal there. Road walked to the Dearborn Trail, plenty of parking available in the lot at trailhead.

Comments: This hike brought us back to Green Mountain, Effingham NH, It was #11 on the list of 92 fire towers that are standing, once stood or were proposed. We wanted to re-do this mountain because the last time we were here we filmed this and added 2 other fire towers to the same video. We are updating the Fire Tower map and are trying to have each tower on a separate video on the map. We also wanted to go to Hanson Top.
The Dearborn trail was very slippery in spots due to the leaves. We hit a trace amount of snow near the top of the Dearborn Trail. We also had about 3/4" of snow on the Hanson Top Trail. Weather called for 50 degrees, never got out of the low 30's.
