Comments
Comments: the trails were all well signed and marked with the exception of the junctions of the high pasture trail and eliza remick road where without a map it would have been unclear what juction i was at coming down. a trail map and information can be found here http://www.forestsociety.org/ourproperties/guide/074/074_map.pdf
there are maps at the trailhead kiosk they ask you return when done. the roads were all in nice shape and made for good walking. the foot paths over the summits were more of the same with some more slippery footing and leaf filled footbeds. views from bald knob and crosby are both great, but unfortunately the tenney mountain wind farm now dominates the east views. bald knob also has a great view to cardigan a short distance off the trail.

this turned out to be a very nice hike. great ledgy peaks with a nice trail network. the spinning wind turnbines on tenney can be heard clear as day once up on the summits (except for that one the never seems to be working....). hopefully the fine bald knob view to cardigan doesn't end up being another view of industrial wind.
