| Water Crossing Notes: |
Streams a little higher than the past few weeks because of the rain. Easy to cross with hiking poles and getting your feet wet. Rock hopping is possible but would be difficult. |

Trail in great shape. |

Saw one friendly golden. Hale Brook is a dog friendly trail.

| Comments: |
Great hike, trail muddy and slippery due to the rain. Used poles on the descent, none for the ascent. Cold at the top, it was freezing rain around 3:30 for 5 minutes or so. Winter is coming. Trail covered with wet leaves so definitely watch your step. |
