Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: One stepover on Round Pond-Piper Link (about 6" diameter). One maybe halfway up East Gilford, about 8" diameter. There was one slight left turn on the Round Pond-Piper Link (heading to Belknap) near Suncook that was confusing with the current leaf cover...one more green blaze there would be helpful.

Comments
Comments: Trails were generally dry but concealed in leaves. Occasional wet ledge, but not a big issue today. Boulder Trail and East Gilford Trail would not be recommended in wet or icy conditions.
Very scenic loop. First time seeing Round Pond from the north shore, as well as ascending the Boulder Trail to Belknap. Also neat to see a snow covered Mt. Washington in the distance with golden foliage remaining in the foreground.
