Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Tunnel Brook has a couple. There is a herd path around some major beaver flooding. Everything else is passable w/o getting wet or going off trail. The hardest crossing on this route is at the start of the Benton tr. I walked a short distance up stream and rock-hopped on submerged rocks.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The tunnel brook is in great shape other than some flooding. One major blowdown on Benton

Comments
Comments: This was a great loop over moos. Tunnel brook is in great shape. I only got brief foggy views of Mt. Clough. Benton is a nice gentle approach to Moosilauke. There was a good dusting of snow this morning. Above treeline was frigged, with a very cold wind driving snow. Rocks were slippery with snow and ice, but light traction would really not be appropriate given the soft ground underneath. I had to be very careful on the decent. There were a good handful of people headed up Glencliff, the first people I saw all day.
