Comments
Comments: Trail conditions were very much a mixed bag. Down low, it was wet, muddy, and covered in leaves. In the middle section, there was snow accumulation on the trees and a light dusting on the ground. Up above treeline, it was basically winter with less snow- 30-35 MPH wind, subzero wind chills, about an inch of snow everywhere, low visibility, and spotty ice, which made put on microspikes for most of the ascent from and descent to the Greenleaf Hut. (It was actually open today, but will be closed for the season starting tomorrow.) Loved it, especially the above treeline part, which was wild!

This hike was done partially solo- my buddy Ray joined me until just below treeline, then turned back due to the conditions and went back to the hut, while I continued to the summit on my own. Still a good hike, and thanks to him for being great company!
