	Trails:	Kinsman Ridge Tail

	Date of Hike:	Sunday, September 21, 2014

	Parking/Access Road Notes:	Lots of parking at the Tram... Bad day for leaf peepers leads to quiet trails.

	Surface Conditions:	Dry Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant

	Recommended Equipment:

	Water Crossing Notes:	None on this section of the Kinsman Ridge Trail.

	Trail Maintenance Notes:	Trail starts out eroded from the Tram Parking lot. Seems to need some TLC as the dirt gives way easy. Everything else is fine.

	Dog-Related Notes:	Isis had a great trip. Ran into Luna again from our Tri's trip over the winter and two other dogs looked to be having a good time.

	Bugs:	None today. But if there was no wind, I bet the muggy temps might have brought them out.

	Lost and Found:	Nothing lost nothing found.


	Comments:	Good day for Cannon... Forecast was iffy so I switched plans from Isolation. Trails are decent but a little eroded at the bottom of the KRT. Summit was quiet due to weather and it was nice to enjoy ourselves on one of the benches to get out of the wind. Trail was easy to navigate and even though there were a lot more rocks than in winter, Isis and I made great time. Up and back in 5 hours. Another one off my 3rd round which leave 4 to go...
