Comments: Had a time window this morning and Liberty was hanging out there. Much warmer than the past few hikes..muggy. Herd path very easy to follow these days. A few wet spots on Liberty springs but aside from loose rock in places on steps pretty good tho steep ascent. Ridge Trail in good shape..the sky brightened for an instant and hoped for some views and was enveloped in wind swept fog again. Decided to skip Flume and just as well as there were a few sprinkles on the drive around the notch. Met one confused young man..in his 20's i would guess, who was 1/2 mile above flume slide cut off and CLIMBING, and climbing quickly up the trail, looking for the parking lot. No map, just a pic on his cell phone that was dead. Asked a few questions, he seemed ok, just lost so i got him down to the turn of the herd path and gave him detailed directions… follow this trail, go left when you hit the bike path…wow. despite the lack of views a good workout hike today..the breeze felt good
