Comments
Comments: Day 1 of a 4 day AT backpack/redlining trip. Roadwalked to the bridge, crossed and followed the AT through downtown Hanover. Velvet Rocks Trail up to the shelter spur, dropped packs, followed the loop up and around back to our packs, then out to Hanover Center Trail and Moose Mountain Trails. Climbed up Moose Mountain South Peak, before dropping down to the Shelter for the night. Shelter was occupied by two tents. Took one of the tentsites, which worked out decently, were it not for the rain during the night. Moose Mountain Shelter water source is barely a trickle right now, the flow further downstream isn't any better.

Look for a blog post soon!
