Needed North Twin for September. Water quite low and very easy to cross at this time. I stuck to the actual trail as the foot bed is much better than on the whack. Perfect weather conditions. Great visibility, cool temps for the climb and a warming sun on top. Met a trail runner that had gone up North Twin, South Twin, Galehead and Garfield and then back. Garfield Ridge trail twice in one day? nope. no thanks. No second helping for me. |
