Parking is not a problem -- park on the side of the road at Alexandria Four Corners (where Washburn Road ends at the intersection with Grafton and Knowles Hill Roads). Do not block anyone's driveway, please. |

South of Crane Mountain, some brushing and minor removal of blowdowns would be helpful, as well as some re-blazing (some blazes have worn off over time or the blazed trees have fallen down). |

Thar be bugs in them thar hills...black flies, skeeters and an occasional tick. |

| Comments: |
A very nice trail and a great hike -- I'll be back (with some tools for brushing and blowdown removal) this year a few more times for certain. Except for some muddy, boggy portions in the col prior to Orange Mountain, this trail is remarkably dry and mud-free. |
