Came in from the north. Found the access road for the quarry and went right up. Eventually becomes a trail once you enter the military reservation. Went to the high point. Nice views to the east (Manchester etc.), west (Pack Monadnock etc.) and if you go a bit past the summit/highpoint, you get views south (Boston). Real nice ending to a 4 pack of fire towers. As always the company of Karen, Steve and Beth was great. More adventures tomorrow. |
