Comments: Monroe Hill Fire Tower. Fox Forest SP, Hillsboro

Peak 2 of our fire tower tour. Molly Jackson Rd and Ridge trail in great shape except for the above. Got to the observation tower quickly. Some vagueness on the site of the tower. The high point and coordinates list Monroe Hill as the site of the tower so we continued up the Ridge Trail to a point where we took a bearing and headed for the summit. Open woods, then hit recently logged woods (lots of small trees) which we pushed through. We hit a semi open logging road and hit the summit of Monroe Hill which is now the back of someones yard. Two down two to go for the day.
