The part of the Rocky Branch Trail that descends to the Isolation Trail is extremely wet; it would take an army to clean it up. Otherwise, all good- blowdowns clear for the most part and there were plenty of pleasant spots. |

| Comments: |
This was a good but rugged hike, particularly in the switchback-ey first couple miles, which kicked our butts. Luckily, the grades were mostly gentle after that. The summit was well worth the 7.2 mile ascent, as the view was excellent and the temperature mild. Plus, the people on the top with us were very fun to talk to and had a wealth of stories.
#46 for me and #3 for Ray, my partner-in-crime. Only West Bond and Wildcat D left on my list! |
