carriage road is a steep gravel and deteriorating paved road that is now a private road to a private home. |

Lovely grand vista for a modest effort, just under a mile but it is a steep climb. The owner is generous and kind to share his home's perch with hikers. The viewing area is mowed, there is a bench and the trees are cleared to maintain the wide open view. |
