Sign says no trail maintainer. Some brush down low, a few step/climb overs, a couple of unders and a number of head bangers (found one the hard way). Some water on trail it appears with rain but all was ok today. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Trail is in great condition for dogs but there was not any water above Tunnel Brook so you would need to carry some for the dog. There was a possible seep/spring about the 2.5 mile mark that might be available |

Decided to take the path less traveled. 3 miles of road walk keep most off of this trail. Very nice trail. Easy on the feet, not that eroded in the steeps, shaded, two nice outlooks. Very enjoyable and I like a warm up and cool down so the road was perfect. Lots of damage from Irene on the road for a couple of hundred yards then just a walk. Highly recommend this trail if you need Moose. |
