Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Plenty of parking, quite a few overnighters taking advantage of the camping to be had up higher.

Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Water crossings were all rock hoppable, with a little care and plodding, the shoes stay dry! The same cannot be said for the actual trail, however. If you have been to Isolation before, you know this is true.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Bit of erosion stands out in my mind along Isolation trail, but nothing ridiculous. The tent sites you encounter along the way look fabulous. This will have to be on the agenda for Kali and I in the future.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Kali really enjoyed day two being a water soaked adventure. Lots of sip and dips and people along the way, only one other handsome dog a long the way.
Bugs
Bugs:
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: black winter hat on a tree on Rocky Branch (I will venture two miles into the trail)

Comments
Comments: What a great day for Isolation. We were not the only people with this goal in mind today. We met so many friendly people along the way, it really enhanced the day. Great conversation and fast feet kept us moving right along. This was the least "eventful" Isolation for me yet. Endless views with swirling clouds on George added to the treat. Congratulations to the 48 finisher that we shared a trail with today.
