About 12 vehicles in the lot with room for about 25. Parking pass required. |

 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Bridges on ski trail sections of Great Gulf and suspension bridge over West Branch of Peabody River. Other crossings were rock hops. The second crossing of Chandler Brook looked very difficult with high water and moss covered rocks above a 20 foot cascade. I decided not to attempt it and turned back here. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Many step over and walk under blowdowns in the wilderness section of the Great Gulf Trail and Chandler Brook Trail. I clipped back some branches with hand clippers, where they were intruding into the footpath. |

Found some trash and 1 pair of men's underwear. Carried out and disposed of. |

I had to be back home early so I went for a short hike in the Great Gulf up to the Six Husbands Trail junction. Saw about 25 hikers. Temps. from 50 to 70, cloudy with some sun at times. A nice day to be out. |
