Parking/Access Road Notes: Plenty at the Signal Ridge trailhead off Sawyer River Rd.

Surface Conditions: Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All rock-hoppable. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The last 0.8 mile of the Carrigain Notch Trail before the start of the Desolation Trail was seriously overgrown in spots. Otherwise the trails were in good shape. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Dogs may have a rough time on the steepest part of Desolation Trail, which had me on all fours. 
Bugs
Bugs: Very few. 
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Saw an old ratty shiry off the Carrigain Notch Trail, but I think the owner didn't want it anymore.

Nice day, but a rough and uncommon way to hike Carrigain! #45 for me, and #2 for my partner-in-crime, Ray.
