Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The only significant water crossing without a bridge was Pine Brook on the East Pond Trail which was a rock hop.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails in generally good condition. There were many orange flags along the south side of the Mt Osceola Trail presumably for future drainage or other trail improvements. The were many fallen trees on the northern half of the East Pond Trail but they were easy step overs. I removed several trees/limbs in the pathway on the East Pond Trail. Some trimming of boughs required in a few spots on the East Pond Trail. As would be expected the Greeley Ponds ski trail had muddy wet areas in some of the low spots.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw dogs on Osceola
Bugs
Bugs: Mosquitoes at lower elevations especially in wetter areas

Comments
Comments: I made a loop hike over the Osceolas using some road walking and the East Pond Trail. East Pond is a beautiful body of water. I decided to use the Greeley Pond ski trail as an alternate to starting at the Greeley Ponds trailhead. Most of the distance on the ski trail was a good walk but there were some muddy watery spots. The steep hike up East Osceola and the chimney between the Osceola peaks had good footing in today's generally dry conditions. Hazy views from the Mt Osceola ledge and the north view outlook rock. Had to pick up a discarded water bottle on the Mt Osceola Trail.
